PRICING:
Every web page has a 'HOME' page. This page is the most difficult and time-consuming page to build for your website. It involves detailing the page layout, colors, implementing photos/logos, titles, search words, etc. that will be the foundation for the rest of your website.
Additional pages to your site will be the pages that users will see when they click on a 'link' from your home page. Some examples include such pages as 'About Us', 'Contact Us', 'Rates', 'Policies' and 'Photo Gallery' pages.
Once a 'Home' page/theme layout has been designed, additional pages can be implemented at a lower rate. The more pages you need, the lower your per page rate becomes.
Charging 'by the page', it allows you to know up-front what your website will cost - regardless of how long it takes me to design the page.

UNDERSTANDING DOMAIN NAMES AND HOSTING FEES:
Getting your web site 'live' on the web involves:
1. registering your domain name
2. renting some server space
If you want to have your own unique address on the web (domain name), it will require a small fee for each year that you want to own the name. The price varies and you can register a name from 1 to 10 years.
After you have registered your domain name, you need to rent some space on a server, so that your website can be displayed on the World Wide Web - this is called hosting.
After you have your domain name registered and your hosting company in place, the last step is to upload your website onto the server.
